Founder Najwa grew up in a Palestinian family where the kitchen was the heart of the home.
Meals were never just meals. Bread was made fresh, guests were always welcomed, and recipes were passed from one generation to the next. Food was how people showed love.
Years later, those same traditions inspired Saj Fresh Grill, a woman-owned, family-run restaurant serving fresh Mediterranean and Palestinian food in Aurora, Colorado.
